Xavier is unlike any other high school in Arizona and is special for so many reasons. I ended up attending an academically rigorous college, but instead of feeling overwhelmed and lost, I felt fully prepared and confident. College felt like a natural progression. This school is built on tradition, dedication, and an indescribable spirit that is always present. The sports programs are incredible and well-recognized, especially swimming, golf, and volleyball. The academics are challenging, but incredibly worthwhile. The teachers actually care about their students. Quarterly rallies, 8th Grade Day, Senior Treats, and fun dances with the boys' school next door are some of my fondest memories. I live on the east coast now and one of the only factors that keeps me interested in eventually moving back to Phoenix is the possibility of one day, having a couple of baby gators in my own home. To anyone who's reading this and knows what the Xavier Bun is-- love you, mean it.

I would like to see a more loving, accepting and understanding staff at Xavier. While some members of the staff exhibit these qualities, many of the faculty members are not understanding about difficult situations in the student's lives. Xavier expects a lot from their students which can be a good thing at times, but they tend to take it to an unattainable level. Each teacher seems to forget that the students have other classes to worry about, besides the specific one that teacher teaches. It is frustrating at times when you reach out for help from the deans or principle and receive nothing but hate. I hope that the Xavier community can turn into one of love and acceptance.
I was able to be challenged in a uniquely wide range of classes and get into my dream college. The faculty at Xavier is excellent and cares about the well being and true learning of the students. The resources are unparalleled in that you have access to learning tools and tried and true classes that help you explore your interests. I was also able to take engineering classes throughout school which is unique to Xavier. The facilities are gorgeous, the sports and theatre excellent. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Diversity is slightly lacking and the faculty has been there a very long time, which slows the progress of new ideas.
