About
Family Life Academy Charter Schools (FLACS) is a free community-grown public charter school network located in the Highbridge, Mott Haven, and Morrisania sections of the Bronx. We are committed to expanding education opportunities for children and closing the achievement gap. FLACS seeks to ensure that all children despite race, income, and English language skills can realize their potential when enrolled in a school that adapts to their needs, implements innovative teaching strategies, and holds high expectations of its community and stakeholders.
At FLACS learning is rigorous, engaging, meaningful & joyful. Our scholars take responsibility for & pride in their work; participate in arts, music & physical education enrichment; build healthy relationships & learn to be global citizens.
