Wyoming Middle School Reviews

The teachers are super qualified and very intelligent in their fields, but a lot (more than you would think) aren't great at teaching. My junior year, I loved every single teacher I had, but that was an anomaly. Especially in the science department, teachers don't teach the material well enough for students to understand without their grades slipping or having to seek outside assistance from tutors. But there are a good bunch of teachers who do wonderful things for their students and treat them like competent beings and that's what sticks.

I've attended Wyoming City Schools for most of grade school and I know everyone in my class by name. It's a small, tight-knit community, but it is also very exclusive and not very diverse. Though most residents are middle class, there is still a disparity in wealth and socialization that alienates others. But despite high taxes and stuck-up neighbors, the education here is top notch and prepares most students for the world outside the Wyoming "bubble".
There's just about everything for students interested in a range of topics and clubs. It's actually very easy to sign up for too much, there's that many available. It's a great way to meet people and get to know yourself.
