Wyoming High School Reviews

My time at Wyoming High School has been an incredibly enriching experience, largely due to the warm, tight-knit community that fosters an unparalleled sense of support and belonging. The benefits of such a close-knit community are immeasurable, as it not only nurtures a supportive network for academic endeavors but also cultivates essential life skills like teamwork, empathy, and resilience. However, one aspect that I believe could enhance our high school experience further is the incorporation of more career exploration-based activities. By integrating practical exposure to various career paths, internships, or mentorship programs, we could better prepare ourselves for the diverse challenges of college and the professional world beyond. Such initiatives could provide invaluable insights, helping us make more informed decisions about our future endeavors and allowing us to align our academic pursuits with our long-term career aspirations.
It was a great school overall. I have gone to Wyoming since pre-school, so I am very familiar with the district. It is very small compared to districts in the area which can be annoying, but is good at other times. The high school is very good about setting students up for success in college, by sending out tons of opportunities for internship-type programs, doing college and career corrals, etc. The academics are pretty tough, and there are tough expectations and standards inside of the school, but at the end of the day that helps the students out.
Being at Wyoming High School was an enjoyable experience. I feel as if I received a very good education from the school. At times classes felt a little too challenging, and at other times it felt very easy. The students and teachers at Wyoming overall are very kind people. There's always a select few that aren't. The school is known for academics but sports is very prominent amongst the school and neighborhood. Certain sports, example being basketball and football, get a lot more attention from the school and community in comparison to other sports. There's a lot of resources for students to use to create. Our library has numerous tech items that are available to the students to use for any projects or simple interest they have in a certain field in the future.
