I'm a part of the first high school graduating class and my time there was good. I like most of my teachers and I miss the atmosphere. I think there should be a more in-depth expectation about college seminar because some students don't really know what to expect until they get them. The teacher and staff could be more diverse because most of the teachers are white and the only Hispanic teachers are Hispanic. It was easy to make friends because it's a k-12 school. its easy for parents to get involve in school even if they are on the road a lot due to work.

I love world of inquiry. I've been going there since I was in kindergarten. Im glad to say that this school actually feels like my second home. I feel safe there everyday at school and the opportunities that are offered to me are so beneficial and I'm very thankful.
There are a lot of academic areas in my school that are struggling, or are just mediocre. It is not that the teachers don't try, they just are not given the resources they need. Also, the curriculum in New York State is far too test oriented, so many students give up because they are not good test takers. The teachers really want to see their students succeed, so spend a lot of time on these students, often at the expense of not covering all the material, especially in higher level courses. This leaves students like myself, who hold themselves to a very high standard, struggling to teach themselves course material. But I have learned to manage it, and it will be a good skill to have once I enter college, so its alright. Also, I just have to say that the English department is perfect, and I have loved and been very successful with all my English teachers.
