At WES, the child is the focal point. Students are immersed in a community whose goal is to educate every student with respect, to maximize their strengths and talents, honor their beliefs and to work together to overcome their challenges. WES staff is committed to working collaboratively with families and students through high quality, research-based instruction - providing each child with a solid educational foundation to become reflective life-long learners and effective community leaders.
My experience at WES has always been great. Teachers focus on the whole child and work hard to consider developmental needs as well as curriculum requirements. WES is a PK through 3rd Grade Community school and is well-loved by many in the community of Woodsville.
WES is moving in the right direction with the new administrator. Mr. Ross is very positive and committed to the school and the community. The staff works well together and puts the best interest of the children above their own needs.
