Woodstock Highschool is the only one in the county that provides STEM pathways, which I greatly appreciate as it has allowed me to look into numerous career paths. Along with providing a variety of AP courses and elective choices, students generally have a lot of freedom when it comes to deciding their schedules. However the management of the school could be better, many things need to be revamped in order to get the school where it should be. Although, we did recently get a new principal who claims to want to change things. If he sticks to his word, then I think Woodstock can be a top tier school in Georgia.
Woodstock High School is a good environment for me personally! Our current principal genuinely cares about the well-being of all students. Most teachers at WHS are good! The science department, however, is not the best. The cleanliness of the school overall is also not the best. School spirit is definitely a defining factor for my school. The counselors and staff are all very nice and helpful.
Woodstock High School is a decent school. It's located in a good area, surrounded by neighborhoods and strip malls and other places for students to go after school. It has an average size student population, so there's some range and diversity in peers. The administrators weren't always great, but the teachers tended to be very helpful and nice. I met my best friends and favorite teachers there. I'm thankful to have gone. It prepared me for college the best it could.
