Overall I have loved my experience at Woodside High school! Transitioning from middle school to high school brought me great fear and worries but with the help of the kind and caring staff, I was able to make the best of the many resources offered on campus! I wake up every morning and look forward to school, and am proud to say woodside high school will be the high school i will be graduating from in 2023. They offer a variety of clubs and sports, fit for people of all cultures and beliefs. Teachers do an amazing job of making all classes enjoyable and as a whole an amazing learning experience. The environment is comfortable, accepting, kind and I feel as though everyone is supportive of one another.
Overall Woodside High School is a great school. While its average test score and GPA aren't great, the school is what you make out of it. All the teachers are great and they offer tons of AP classes that prepare you for the AP test. The administration is great and I personally know and talk to the very friendly principal on a daily basis. The only thing Woodside High School needs to improve is their food which is very stereotypical "American cafeteria food".
I loved the AS English program there and I feel like I really thrived in those challenging classes. I take classes at a community college now and I feel like that environment really prepared me for these courses. I also really liked the social environment there and the welcoming nature of all the clubs and staff within the school. I think that there is always room to change and improve a learning environment, but Woodside is working on their community, inclusivity and making positive changes in students lives.
