Woodrow Wilson Middle School Reviews

Beman (The new Woodrow W. MS) is a decent school. The building is beautiful but some of the classrooms aren't that convenient. For example: The science rooms aren't that convenient because there is not enough space to do experiments since the faucets are taking up to much space. Also an unnecessary amount of cabinets. Other than that, everything else is fine. The teachers are good. The food is okay but I feel like they could do better. This school is really diverse. The staff is really friendly and are very social with the students. They are very involved with parents and care about their opinions too. They have a good amount of resources for students and parents. They have a good selection of sports but it would be better if in the future they could add more options. It's also a very safe space with lots of protection. Good school overall.
Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Middletown Connecticut was formerly the high school building. Although the building is very old and in need of many repairs and updates —teachers, students, administrators, and parents do the best to build a positive environment within the failing building/structure. Committees are formed for clean ups/repairs/gardening to build up the school community in light of the building issue. The good news is that it was just recently approved to build a new middle school. I hope all the good citizenship that is in place for the old school continues in the new school environment!!
