My reasoning behind this ‘average’ rating is due to a multitude of issues I’ve run into during my experiences here. While I do think most teachers play a vital role in educating and helping the students achieve their dreams, there are still problems. For one, the counselors don’t exactly listen to the students, especially when it comes to schedule changes. Yes, they might have a lot of students coming them about it but they should always make an effort to accommodate their students and listen to them. Possibly even solve huge problems while doing so.

This school, however, offers a lot of great opportunities! They have a ton of clubs and extracurriculars that will keep you busy and they even have an IB program which helps further students in their jouney throughout life,

Although there are issues, this school serves a purpose and I’m glad I go here!

Let me tell you a little bit about Woodrow. I spent 4 great years there and I had an amazing experience. Although I did run into a few bumps along the road Id say the school is very safe , friendly , and not too much goes on , the atmosphere is very chill and academically and artistically focused . one thing that I do think really stands out the most are ourselves ! everyone has their own personal style so it’s very interesting to see all these mixes of different characteristics interact! Don’t even get me started about the teachers , they always find ways to keep class interesting, I’d say the teachers are genuinely concerned about our well being and our future. And If there was one thing I’d change about Woodrow it would be adding more classes that encourage early career training which I think would be very useful for many students who are thinking of pursuing careers in areas like cosmetology
During my four years at Woodrow, I came to a realization that there is no high school like Woodrow Wilson High School. With multiple academic programs to help any student excel, this school is rich in its history, community, and reputation. Not only do students partake in their academic program, almost all students are involved in some sort of activity, sport, or club. while many students are athletes, performers, club members, and leaders, they all excel in their academics. it's no doubt that the community of Woodrow Wilson High School is the best out of any Dallas Independent School District High School. Every Football game, Homecoming parade, graduation, and school celebration is filled with Woodrow Alums, families of students or faculty members, and potential students from Woodrow's feeder school. Every corner, hallway, and room at Woodrow shows the history of the school itself. Woodrow Wilson High School is the best in regards to receiving a true high school experience.
