The school itself is incredibly diverse! Students of many ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds attend from all over the county. Sports teams are decent. The theatre program used to be incredible.
Academically, it's a bit of a hit or miss. Some of the classes (especially dual-enrollment) are incredibly helpful and informative. Others are overcomplicated and fail to teach, while instead focusing on scores and standardized results.

Woodrow Wilson High School is amongst the biggest high schools in the state of West Virginia, and with that will come many opportunities and downfalls.

The large campus is a major plus for myself, and the sports teams are great, especially our basketball team.

The biggest downfall for myself is how crowded it feels in the class room; I have some classes that have 30+ students in it, which makes it a very uncontrolled learning environment.

Our theatre department puts on a show once a year, and every single time it is amazing! This year, we are doing Beauty and the Beast. We also have choir, advanced choir, marching band, and concert band!
One thing I liked about Woodrow is the diversity of the students as well as the academic opportunity offered throughout the course of four years. With having this availability, it allows students to choose classes that may interest them instead of classes that are forced. However, one thing I would like to see change is the school spirit within the school. Not many students get involved and hardly any incentives are offered to the students. If incentives were to be offered, I feel that more appropriate behavior would take place and more involvement within a classroom setting would be more heard of.
