The school is good, most teachers are nice and know what they are doing. The principal is super nice, and the atmosphere is overall good. But, they could change a few things. First, the FLEX class is not needed, because students do not do anything in that class and mostly do their homework, which they are not supposed to do. Also, they could change their gym class to be less fitness and more fitness-incorporated. Students would have to run either the mile or the pacer every week, which was hard on many of them. Grading system is good.
I love all of my teachers and classmates. Gym could be changed a lot though. Less fitness and more just fitness incorporation. Flex is the ONLY reason I took a star off. It is pointless and we should have a study hall with teachers pulling kids instead. Overall, great school!
The school was kind of small for me, but the teachers were nice. The bad part was, there was too much of a difficult transition between 5th grade and 6th grade, for me especially since I had EIA which made running the mile a very big challenge, also there was a lot of social anxiety at the time. The school is not very difficult because of the grading system, but it is hard to transition into the traditional grading system in high schools later on. The principal is super nice though, and there may seem to be very few opportunities in clubs compared to stevenson, but I recommend trying clubs like, after school sports club, Science Olympiad(It's really fun).
