During my 4 years attending Woodlawn High School, I had time of my life. Met new friends and even met unknown family members. I acquired new skills and knowledge from teachers, administrators, and my peers. I love every moment!

I personally feel that the curriculum is missing that factor that keeps students on their toes and having to actually study and work hard for the grades that they receive. There are few people that i can honestly call my friend and who would have back. There is barely any school spirit, the halls have no posters or anything its pretty mush just lockers and bare walls, the fine arts programs are suffering. If people were not forced to take a variety of electives everyone would be in PE, in which we do nothing but stand around a wall and people play basketball if they want to after we go outside and walk around the track. There are few teachers who actually are about the well being of the students. And i feel the teachers are not really putting in a effort to support them either.
My time at Woodlawn highschool has been great so far. I've been attending this school since my 10th grade year I attended Ramsay highschool my 9th grade year. As an witness of both schools I like Woodlawn better. I've had so many great opportunities different clubs, sports, and scholarship opportunities but lets not forgot about the college opportunities I've had we've had an college representive almost every week this year. The different programs prepared me for college and act as much as they could. Yes I had fun also the pep rally's, games, programs, etc. was such a great joy. Especially for me because I was a flag girl that taught me so much about life when my graduation day come I will be proud to say I am a Woodlawn graduate.
