Woodinville High School is a great school. It has an abundance of clubs to choose from. It also has teachers that are willing to meet with you before, during, or after school to help you be successful. This school has a partial block schedule for the first part of the week and a more traditional style the rest of the week. The block schedule is great because you have less classes in the day, but more time in the classes that you do have. Double time on class periods allows for deeper thinking and more time to work collaboratively on group projects. Administrators as well as teachers at times greet students at the front entrance of the school each and every day. The school has a very welcoming feel partly because of this. Overall, this is a fantastic high school!

I appreciate how committed and caring teachers and staff are beyond their students' academic achievement. Teachers and counselors are genuinely concerned about their students and are ready to offer help and resources if a student is in need academically or personally.
The social culture is above average at WHS because students are less cliquey compared to other schools, and respect, care, and leadership are valued and actively demonstrated among the majority of the student body. People seem to be understanding and accepting of the diversity at WHS and people feel safe enough to openly express themselves.
The academics at Woodinville are very good. I am at the end of my first year of college and feel that my teachers actually over prepared me. The workload was fairly rigorous in some classes, especially if you take AP, but that is what is most helpful because it gets you ready for college. Also, the teachers are very helpful, meaning they are almost always willing to help students with any issues they have regarding the class. Sports are also a very big deal at Woodinville. My three years at Woodinville we had very talented teams all across the board, from baseball to basketball to football, for both men and womens teams. Students really enjoy going to the games because their fun and spirited. If you’re not into sports then there are an abundance of different clubs you can join. There is always something to be included in at Woodinville which made it a great school to grow in as a student and a person.
