This school has MANY MORE CONS THAN PROS!
Pros: Very caring teachers, good college prep, great biblical teaching.
Cons: GOOD COLLEGE PREP DOES NOT MEAN THIS SCHOOL HELPS PEOPLE GET ACCEPTED TO COLLEGE! Regular Woodcrest classes are harder than normal classes and have have honors level difficulty. But no one gets any gpa credit or boost for taking these “regular”hard classes! An above average/good student who would be excelling in a public school and boosting their chances for college would find themselves with terrible grades at this school and little to no college acceptances from any not terrible colleges!
No diversity. This school’s racial demographics are identical to Cal Poly SLO, the least diverse public university in CA.
Not enough students per grade meaning people are stuck being friends with those who they normally wouldn’t be.
This school has no football, not enough AP classes and no typical high school experience.
Don’t attend. The cons do outweighs the pros.

Woodcrest Christian School stands out among other schools in its academic rigor, heavy encouragement of student involvement in school activities, and Christian-based values. I appreciate how its staff take nothing lightly or for granted, doing their best to use class time as efficiently as possible. Furthermore, poor student behavior is met with swift disciplinary action, which is an aid to the flow of day-to-day school life and events. The best part of my experience at Woodcrest Christian has to be the relationships I have found and fostered with both students and staff. Its teachers really take the time to pour into students' lives, wanting to know them more as individuals (and in many cases, fellow Christians), rather than simply students. Woodcrest, being a small private school, is teeming with opportunities to get to know one's instructors and fellow classmates. I will forever appreciate the school's clear, down-to-earth emphasis of the importance of both academics and community.
My overall experience with Woodcrest Christian School has been amazing. Over the past six years, I have been at the school I have grown academically, socially, and spiritually. Academically I have taken some rigorous courses that have challenged me to grow and want to know more about that subject. I have made great relationships with some of my teachers, and they have been able to guide me and give me advice. And socially I have made a large group of friends, and I have been able to help others feel comfortable meeting new people as well. In the future, if I could change one thing it would be the size of people who attend high school and the events during the week. I would help make a larger group of events happen and allow more students to attend high school so there can be even more of a community.
