It is an incredibly diverse school, the number of cultures that are brought together under the same institution is impressive, and the teachers are pleasant and always available to students, emotionally and academically, and the new building with its new fields creates a motivational educational environment
the administration is always motivating students to pursue their career aspirations giving multiples opportunities to students to explore multiple academic fields in STEAM, sport, and art, in addition, they have resources for students with a special situation, to kids with additional necessities, to new mother.
Even so, it is common to see students who do not take education seriously, and even if there are no gangs, fights occasionally occur which usually school police take control of the problem, also, the teachers have to deal with the poor attitude of the students, which is annoying for both teachers and students.

I was a student here from Class of 2018. The school is very diverse. You’ll get to meet people from different tribes, countries. The academics in the school is good as well. When I was the student, they had good teachers for maths but not enough for science classes. History and other social science classes were amazing because of the teachers. Teachers are absolutely great and very friendly. The college readiness center or the “College Center” is basically the home for the seniors. I can’t thank my advisors from the college center enough that how much they helped me: from applying to different colleges to finding out appropriate scholarships for me, going to several field trips to colleges which helped me to choose the best college and, applying to the financial aid assistance. Definitely, I am one of those luckiest who was blessed with all the good things or people during my high school years.
Wisdom High School is in dire need of an administration takeover. The students at the school do not care about their education and need to be shown that their way of life is not helping them. A number of students are associated with gangs and fights break out at the school often. The students at the school usually are immigrants or come from failing middle schools. Administration at the school needs to be more efficient and has to stop changing policies every year. Teachers at the school are often wasting time during class doing various things and this results in incomplete lessons. How can students be expected to pass if they aren't taught? HISD needs to target the middle schools that supply the students for Wisdom High School. If more effort is placed early into the students' lives to teach them right from wrong, then the school will have a higher chance of succeeding.
