Wisconsin Heights is a fantastic school. I love the teachers and the programs that they offer. Though I would like to see some things change, for change might help our district grow. First off, I would like our school to go solar so we are more environmental friendly. I know this may be hard because solar panels are high priced for large schools. I would also like to see more diverse lunch options, currently we have one lunch option, this option usually containing meat, gluten, and other substances in which students may not be able to or may not choose to eat. More lunch options would help the students who cannot eat gluten or have certain allergies. Though these are just some of the things that I would change in our school.
Wisconsin Heights is a great school with great teachers but the administration often doesn't care about their students mental health or well being. My friends and I often feel like administration only communicates with us when we are taking some type of standardized tests. I feel that my teachers really care for their students and I do feel prepared for college in an academic sense, but if your looking for variety of classes look somewhere else. Heights only offers 5 AP classes and no honors. Are grades are also unweighted. There is also no help for the college admissions processes. Are guidance team doesn't even care enough to help us with applications and if you do go in to ask a question they wont help you but rather totally ignore your question and talk about non related things. Also School Spirit is not a thing at Heights, thanks to the total lack of pep rallies. If you want a strong education go to Heights but if you want a full high school experience look somewhere else.
Wisconsin Heights High School creates a close-knit learning environment designed to make sure every student succeeds. Although it is a small rural school, academics at Wisconsin Heights are top notch. Teachers are more than willing to go above and beyond to help students. Wisconsin Heights offers many clubs and extracurricular activities. They boast an art club, chess club, social justice club, positivity outreach club, film club, and many more. Students are also allowed and encouraged to create clubs of their own. Wisconsin Heights has a talented music and arts program. The community enjoys watching students perform at choir and band concerts along with musicals and plays. Many students have gone to collage and remarked how well Heights has prepared them for higher education. All teachers teach with college readiness in mind. Wisconsin Heights in an extremely safe school, because of its location.
