Wiregrass Ranch High School Reviews

Honestly it was a great school! The color was a little dull and a little crowded but the teachers I had were awesome! Ms. Berry was the best! Also the two front office ladies, Ms.Santiago and Ms. Jackson, made my time really enjoyable. The school offered quite a bit I just was never really interested in the clubs or other activities. I think people tend to not enjoy there experiences while in school but looking back I do miss my days there and wish I had done more! Overall it’s a solid school and the administration does try their best for everyone there even though not everyone notices!
Though it has been only a year since I have been going to Wiregrass Ranch High School, I love the experience here; the people and teachers are very supportive in this school and drive me to be the best possible person I can be. The schedule to fit any course that suits you the best is perfect for a person like me who wants to take high achieving classes yet has my own choice to suit my interests. However, there is a lack in two main aspects: the difference between regular and honors vs. AP and the food. The comfort of transitioning from a regular or honors class to an AP is too much and takes time to get used to. I feel that regular and honors are too easy while AP being standardized has homework and time management skills far beyond the ones in honors and regular. I would like for regular and honors to be harder so that the transition would be easier. Also, in my school, it has become an expectation for the meals to taste terrible, which has slowly become the truth for me too.
I had a wonderful four years at Wiregrass Ranch High School! I loved the variety of extracurriculars like sports and clubs that were available to the students. One change they could make would be to make sure the students are really informed about what is required for graduation in terms of credits per year and volunteer hours. Students should also be well informed on the scholarships, internships, and programs that the school offers!
