Winter Park High School is a vast melting pot filled with students from across the world. It’s diversity makes for an exciting atmosphere around campus. The staff at Winter Park is phenomenal. We hire the best teachers and administrators that are ready to help you in any way they can, whenever they can. As a second generation Wildcat, my father having graduated in 1975, makes Winter Park mean even more to me. It is a beautiful school with a lovely campus, filled with hard working students. I believe it is safe to say that there is no school in the Central Florida area that can top Winter Park in all categories! I love Winter Park High School and would highly recommend it to any students that are moving to the Orlando area and looking for a new school to call home.

Winter Park High has a very old campus to the point that my classmates and I joke about how it looks like a prison. Because Florida is hot and humid, the rain floods a good portion of the sidewalks and there is just a lot of distance to cover just to get to your next class on time. The teachers are decent, but my perspective could be skewed because I am in the IB program. I'd say most of my teachers are attentive and adjust to my needs relatively well, and they actively seek to help their students, though this doesn't apply to all my teachers. The food is not good. I bring lunch from home everyday. I'm not involved in the sports at my school, but I'm familiar with our orchestra program where we are one of the best in the state. A new addition were these black gates that made movement around campus even more restricted and just a horrible experience because it cuts off half the campus from the other half. But overall, Winter Park provides a decent high school experience.
WPHS is an amazing school. It has tons of AP classes such as Computer Science, Physics, and European history.

It as a wonderful IB program. Students take classes at the college level and take advanced foreign language classes.

The administration installed locked gates and implemented new traffic flow in order to insure safety of students.

WPHS has a college and career center where students can find information about almost any college, schedule college visits, and get very informative guidance.

I do not personally eat the school provided food, but many of my friends give great reports about it. The cafeteria has electrical outlets at each table to charge laptops that are used every day in the classroom.
