I am a senior at Winston County and I love my school, all my classmates, and all of my teachers are great. I think our school system lacks discipline in the administration level. I love my principal and the people who work in the school office, I just feel as if they are bullied by our superintendent; however, this is not their fault. WCHS lacks in diversity, discipline, and resources.

They offer a couple of clubs and organizations. A lot of students join them. They have meeting often for these clubs. They are very welcoming and invite other students in. The Key Club does a lot of volunteer work and helps the school. They have amazing tech school classes. They offer business tech, automotive, electrical, home ec, and cosmetology. I personally took cosmetology for two years. I loved learning new things and being part of that class. Another great things was that since I took the class for two years, I could have used it toward my degree.
If I ever have a problem in school I know that I will have full support. If I have trouble with projects or assignment they are always there to help. I also think it is great that they offer study hall so that students can complete their school work at school. Some students may not have time at home for school work because of sports or possible even family issues. My senior year I was so thankful for all the support that they offered me. My mother passed away right before graduation They helped me in any possible way they could. They even let student come to the funeral to show their support. All the teachers put together meals to bring to my house. After I graduated I was moving over seas with my husband that is in the military. Since I had lost my mother, they help me with everything that I needed to get where I was going and helped me achieve my high school diploma.
