I think that Winston Academy is a great school and has lots of potential for growth. Placing Mr. Hayles at WA was a great choice. I believe he has the desire to make WA a better place each day. I would love to see a weekly Art program as well as a more established Music program. I would love to see a Dance Team for WA, they had one many years ago. I think that those parents/grandparents that volunteer to help or run sports should at least get a discount on tuition during the time they are running those sports, example peewee football during the weeks they are practicing or playing and same for golf, archery, and tennis. If those sports have volunteers they should be thank with a discount of some amount.

Teachers seem to pile on work without in correlation to learning material. Poor facilities, ceilings leak whenever it rains, large holes in sidewalks, and rats found in locker rooms.
I transferred to Winston Academy my sophomore year. The only regret that I have was that I didn’t transfer much sooner. My first day was amazing everyone welcomed me as if I was family. Winston also had more activities than my previous school for example winter formals, proms, senior parties and senior trip. Most importantly the quality of education was way better than our local public schools from the material being taught to the teachers in the classroom. The staff taught us and wanted us to make a high score on the ACT.
