Winnetonka highschool is a place where a student is able to freely express themselves and achieve their full potential. It is very rare for a school to be so diverse and the still celebrate all cultures. Here at Winnetonka, we host (as in students) a culture fair, encouraging the student body to participate to enlighten and celebrate their cultures. We are a school that is overall culture friendly and don't discriminate based on gender, race, religion, sexuality, etc. At my school it currently offers over 40 clubs for students, making a range of activities the students are available to participate in. Currently, I'm in Key Club, Spanish Club, AVID, and GSA, just to name a few. Winnetonka has opened my horizons in terms of socially and intellectually progression. Having one of the most interactive and endearing staff, they actually set the students up for success, not just to pass them. My school has many opportunities for students to receive 1:1 help with teachers.
I personally loved my experience at Winneontka High School! The teachers are more than willing to help you with any situation, and are usually pretty understanding. Not only that but they are supportive and they want their students to achieve, I felt the encouragement from my teachers!
Not only were the teachers great but the security guards are very cool and you can be open with them even about your daily life struggles. They will take the time out of their day to give you a quick pep talk. Loved my time at this High School!

Great teachers & programs to help underprivileged students. Good support system embedded into the school. Academic programs are advanced and designed to help push students. There is a defined split in culture between students, but that is true in any school experience. Academics can sometimes be too lenient and not challenging enough, but it provides for students who would otherwise struggle. Athletics are not as large as with other schools, which can be refreshing. School spirit is high among current students and alumni. Art department is well funded. Many varieties of clubs and organizations. Language is underdeveloped, with only 3 choices, but is average for public school.
