Throughout my three years at Windsor High school, I absolutely love it! I have participated in 3 sports throughout the years and have enjoyed finding my place and friends at school. Academics are a really big deal for me, so I am aiming to take higher level classes. We have dual credits through Aims Community Commons and university of Northern Colorado. I am currently taking AP Bio with Tamara Pennington who has won multiple national awards and is very well known. I am proud to be a wizard and blessed to be going to such a great school like Windsor.

Windsor High School gave me an okay High School experience. The building itself is very old and all brick although they are currently reconstructing parts of the building this year to make it new. I love the teachers at my school but the students are mostly all conservative/republican and it’s hard for me because I am a strong liberal. The diversity at our school is terrible and a lot of schools call us “Vanilla Valley” because everyone at Windsor is white except for a couple people. My experience with sports has been amazing, I’ve been on the Varsity Soccer team since my freshman year and we have made it to semi finals for 3 years in a row and we are looking to go to State this year! I was also the first girl on our football team and I had a lot of support from everyone!
While the interior of our school may not be like the high school of one's dreams ( bright, shiny, and new), the administration, teachers and athletic program more than make up for it's otherwise drab interior. Our principal sparkles with enthusiasm and has true, genuine love for her student body. Our teachers are armed with great senses of humor and intelligence to brighten our academic path. And, our athletic program is a "Friday Night Lights" community, where the athletes and town come together to reach great success! It's what lies in the school that counts and it is what has made my four years here so amazing.

If I were to do my high school years all over again, I would gladly attend WHS; I would just choose a more colorful coat of paint.
