The worst part of going to Windham is the math department. A lot of the teachers are very sweet people, but the quality of teaching can be really terrible. This REALLY depends on the teacher, though. The highest math courses offered are AP Calculus AB and Statistics. While this is fine, a lot of schools offer AP Calculus BC as well, putting Windham students at a disadvantage.
The teachers here are great people, and I have had a wonderful time getting to know them. The food is delicious and fairly healthy. Sports, while competitive, can sometimes be a toxic environment. In clubs and extracurriculars, involvement is lackluster from students and staff alike. It is really hard to get people to participate.
Overall, I have really liked Windham, but I wish the academics were better. The best part of going here has been the amazing teachers. They are all great people, even if the math dept could use some improvement.

The overall experience here was average. The teachers are nice and the education piece of the school is tremendous but one thing that is lacking is student preparation for their future. There is no SAT prep class, guidance counselors barely interact with students and if they do are not helpful. This is the one reason why my school is receiving an 3 star. The main reason for why high school is so important is to prepare for the next step of our lives. I feel this was lacking because I am currently going through the college application process and winging it. If it were not for resources such as the Common App I would be left in the dust like many students at Windham High School. This school is great but is lacking in many important areas for students. One plus is they offer Advanced classes and many higher level classes letting students excel. But the one area that obviously needs improvement is the counselors and support for Windham High School students' futures.
Windham has its ups and downs. The teachers are very interested in teaching, for the most part. I have had multiple teachers who seemed more interested in a paycheck. The athletic program is talented but cruel. I had a friend who was bullied by her cheer coach because she had a hearing problem and the administration did nothing. Another problem at Windham is the vaping in the bathrooms. The way the administration 'fixes' this problem is by locking that bathroom, leaving the students with only one per floor. Personally I find Windham to be a overall good school but hearing others talk about their experiences it is clear not everyone feels the same.
