Windermere School Reviews

We have absolutely loved our time at Windermere! The teachers are fantastic, and our principal has created a wonderful and welcoming culture in the school! The hands on classroom science experiments the teachers create give the kids physical examples of complex theories! Immigration Day and Revolutionary War Days are favorites of students and give them a chance to explore history. For a rural agricultural town we have a fair amount of diversity in our classes, my children love the friendships they have made with international students (and the teachers have on occasion done a whole class skype if someone returns back to their country midyear). My kids have been involved in many extracurriculars including acting, Spanish, computer programming, chorus, band, and inventor's club (which gives them the opportunity to explore engineering). The members of the PTO work very hard to create fun activities year round for our children, and they do a wonderful job! We love the opportunity for family involvement in the school, like Gobble Gobble Bingo nights, and so many opportunities for volunteering!
