The teachers are a mixed basket but they are some hidden gems who deserve better students. We are a pretty large feeder school into the University of Georgia. But I've had a decent time here at WBHS.
I've really enjoyed my High school experience here at WBHS. The faculty members really made a difference in my life and there are only so many ways I could thank them.
Winder-Barrow High School is a decent place to intend, but I wish I would have seen more funds going into programs other than sports. As well as that, there are not many resources for Transgender students. However, the academics themselves are good.
The school is great and the kids and teachers all around help to make it better! The environment is great! Teachers to help you whenever you need the help! The clubs they have after school really are great experiences to have.
Winder Barrow is a good school with good falculty and staff. Though the building itself is in pretty good shape, a lot of the textbooks and desks aren't in great condition. There's also the occasional bug, but overall it's a good school.
Overall with my experience at Winder Barrow High School it was great a lot of fun and nice people. I made a lot of friends and very nice teachers I wouldn't have wanted to go to another high school. Yes some days were not the best but overall it was amazing.
Winder Barrow was a good school. The teachers were nice for the most part and it was clean. I wish it had more diversity in the classrooms though.
Overall, I had a very good experience with this high school. Most of the teachers are very helpful and sincerely care about their students' success.
The best part about Winder-Barrow High school was the sense of school spirit. We always had a large student section and support for our school. Teachers tried their best not to leave students behind and helped them find ways that they could caught up. I personally struggled with the school counselors. It was hard to contact them by email and they never got back to me. Everything else though was an amazing experience.
During my four years here, I definitely matured and this school helped me in doing so. There’s no perfect school and each will experience some adversity. I’m thankful I got to meet many people even those who I’m not associated with anymore because I’ve learned from mistakes and new morals.
Winder was an amazing school, especially if you were in the AP or honors classes. the other classes weren't so great. I made many life long friends there and had great teachers.
I like how the community of the high school worked together. I would like to see more sports or opportunities appear.
I like how the school isn’t too big because you can get close with a lot of people and the community knows everyone.
I moved to Winder-Barrow my sophomore year of highschool. Within the first day, I was greeted by a multitude of people who helped me get around such a big school. I was given many opportunities to socialize and to get comfortable with my surroundings. I have yet to have any problems here and I cannot wait for graduation when it comes.
It was overall a good experience. It would have been nice if they had started helping more our Freshman year with getting ready for college.
The school was a good school to attend. Although some of the teachers were not the best teachers, a lot of them did care about about the students.
It had a lot of diversity. A lot of good teachers that I had. There were a handful of drama throughout the school though. There weren't too many vapors when I was still in school.
