Windber's educational program is fantastic. Despite Windber being a small, unknown school, many students have achieved high marks on standardized tests such as the Advanced Placement Tests as well as the SAT and ACT. All the organizations at the school such as Student Council and Class Council are dedicated to helping other groups and the community. A favorite experience of mine is going to the monthly Somerset County Mobile Food Bank with the Student Council to hand out food for those in need.
Many of Windber High School teachers truly care about our education and our success. All the teachers are very knowledgeable about their subject and help us whenever we need help.
