Wilson High School was great, I enjoyed my experience overall. I think the school is just too big, it can be overwhelming. I would have liked to have smaller classroom sizes so that the teachers could focus more on the students. In the AP classes that I took I felt like the teachers cared more and gave students so much of their time. There were so many amazing clubs to join and lots of activities on campus that made it so much fun! There was no air conditioning and in Southern California it is almost impossible to pay attention when you're sitting in and 90 degree classroom, sweating. I truly feel that air conditioning could have changed the dynamic in the classrooms as well.

I love Wilson! I think it's such an amazing school because there is something for everyone in terms of academics, activities, and athletics. The newly implemented pathways make it easier for everyone to start taking classes that relate to the career path they are interested in taking in the future. The academics are super rigorous and classes really emphasize college readiness. Go Bruins!
Atmosphere for learning, growing and experiencing all that high school has to offer. Teachers push for not only academics, but also for involvement in the school and the activities and clubs that are offered. Students are encouraged to make the most of their days and participate in all activities they are interested in.
