As part of an organization, I visited all of the other schools in the county and realized that Wilson Central is honestly the best. Our administration and teachers are constantly trying to improve our schooling experience. The vast amount of extracurriculars at WC is astounding. There are so Manu opportunities to get involved in the school and the community. We have the best student council and theatre in the entire county. Many of the other organizations are nationally ranked as well. Wilson Central is overall an amazing school!

Wilson Central is the greatest high school I could’ve been a part of. Their administrators, teachers, and other staff love their job and the students both. The sports broadcasting program is nationally recognized, and their athletics are superb. Some of my best memories were made as a Wildcat. From going to Orlando to represent the county and school for DECA, to various opportunities for broadcasting, to three complete baseball seasons (could’ve been four if corona didn’t happen), Wilson Central excels in just about every category. Most students worry about having a certain teacher for a class, but you really can’t go wrong with any teacher. These amazing teachers are the reason I plan to come back to Wilson Central to teach broadcasting en route to becoming a principal. I can guarantee that I’ll never forget my times as a Wilson Central Wildcat. The senior phrase, “once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.” Holds true. Several famous alumni have returned to visit.

I really enjoyed going to school at Wilson Central. It was an experience that I would not take back in my life. The only thing that I would have enjoyed more is the diversity of the students, and the events for the African Americans. There were not a lot of events representing the culture of the black students in the school. We only had a select number of black teachers, and I feel like there would have been more diversity if there were more black staff. Overall it was a good experience, but I feel like my culture was overlooked extremely!
