Wilson Area HS gave me some of the greatest years of my life and lots of friendships along the way. The faculty prepared me well for college and was there every step of the way. The amount of clubs and activities were average for such a small school but administration was always ready to listen and help to create new clubs when students brought ideas to them.
mostly all about the school work which is okay but feels as if they do not care about the mental health of students. feels they care if you are in the higher classes too. it’s complicated there. i like it but at the same time i feel that i do not fit very well there.
The best thing about Wilson is the sense of family and community within both the faculty and the student body. Other schools have issues with bullying and shooting threats, but my school is full of such welcoming people that it will be hard to say goodbye. I have made so many friendships over the years and strong bonds with my teachers, so when I have to leave a part of me will always be proudly belonging to Wilson. My academic success is because of my high school, but it is the people who I can thank for my happiness.
Wilson Area High School really helped me be a better person and taught me how to be better student, be organized, and be patient with everything I do or learn. Wilson really has a great environment. The students and faculty make you feel as if you are family. The teachers are very helpful they helped me a lot through my freshman to senior year of high school. The school never makes you feel like you are out of place or uncomfortable. The principle and the vice principle are really nice and are also very helpful they help you with a lot of things they sometimes check up on you if they see that you are falling behind and they figure out a way or game plan to make sure that you are back on track. The students are also really nice. I think personally that this school really helped me education wise and really encouraged me to get straight A's through all my years of high school.
Wilson is a great school, and I have had a wonderful experience as a student. The teachers and faculty are absolutely great and are willing to work hard to see their students succeed. We have several successful sports teams that have been on the rise over the past few years. Overall, Wilson gets an A++++++.
wilson area high school is a great school. i am now a senior, and my school feels like home. it is a very small school, so everyone knows everyone and you're all basically family. academics are fantastic here, with most students in honors/AP classes, and dedicated teachers who will not hesitate to help and work with students. school pride and culture is very big, with lots of spirit and events to participate in school and the community.
Wilson Area High School helped me find my identity. The teachers care about their students and take time to help those students find the path that they want to go down in life.
Wilson Area High School is a great school. With amazing teachers and a supportive student body, the school has no problem getting students to ace their AP tests and other exams. There could be more support for all the different athletic teams and a little more school spirit from the students, but overall it's a very good school.
I think the teachers really care about the students and their academics. All the facilities are modern with a lot of available technology.
There are a lot of activities for students to get involved. Teachers help you to succeed. However, unless you take AP classes, there are not a lot of writing assignments, papers. This did not prepare me well for college.
I love that Wilson has a very positive and healthy environment. Both the staff and students are very friendly. I was welcomed with open arms and felt like I belonged there. Everyone in Wilson is part of one big and very close family. The teachers at Wilson are especially great at teaching. What I would like to see is change at Wilson is diversity in the student body. I would like to see more types of students and students who are more involved in school activities.
Wilson is ver academic oriented. The teachers have true and genuine concern for students who are failing or close to failing and try everything in their might to help them. The students have some school spirit, but excel in most activities and sports they participate in. The faculty members are always available for a student to talk to, not closed off. It may be a small school, but it can be very open and feel like a family somtimes.
Wilson Area High School was a great school for me. I came into that school as a complete nobody who didn't involve himself in the community at all. By the time I left the high school, I was involved in multiple sports, multiple clubs, and had taken 10 AP classes. The teachers are great at Wilson, the school is very diverse, the school does an okay job of getting a person ready for high school, the food is average (but they do always serve pizza and serve breakfast), the clubs are many, the resources are many more, and the memories are priceless.
Overall Wilson Area High School served its purpose for me and got me into a good college but my experience could have been better. The good teachers at the school end up leaving and going to other schools.
Wilson Area High School is a diverse and competitive school where students excel inside and outside of the classroom. Teachers are more than willing to help their students in any way possible. For example, if a student did poorly on a test after being absent for a few days, the teachers are happy to review the content that they missed so they are able to succeed.
Wilson was a wonderful school for me. I switched over during my junior year & was immediately accepted. All of the teachers are kind & considerate & truly care about the education of the students. There are also a myriad of activities for students to participate in.
Of all the teachers I have had at this school, only one has proved to not be an effective teacher for my own personal learning style. All others, however, have been great. Scheduling classes can occasionally fail to work out, but usually you will receive most of the classes you desire in your schedule. The guidance counselors also do everything in their power to make sure you get the classes you want.
