I feel so fortunate that my children were able to attend WFS. It has been a transformative experience. Yes, the education was exceptional, but the community is amazing. The staff connects with the students, offers them opportunities, and encourages them to become their best selves! Especially in these times, I think it's so important to have an education grounded in values and I can't think of any better philosophy than one of "that of God in everyone."

Unfortunately the lower and middle schools are so poorly run, that the kids do not get a decent education. It seems that for the money being charged, none of that funding goes towards the schools or the teachers. Teachers are well underpaid compared to the market and I hate to say it but you get what you pay for! Unfortunately the school is not changing or doing anything about it. Save your money and send your kids to a charter school in Delaware where you will find better support and better teachers.
The school is poorly run. There are good teachers but most are average. The students were pooled from mixed family backgrounds and school is very tolerant to various aggressive behaviors. The classroom culture thus was affected by a few bad apples. Administration is not doing anything to change the culture unfortunately. It is expected WFS is becoming less and less competitive for the best and brightest students in this area. For the tuition charged, we are better off changing to another private school.
