I love Wilmington Early College High School! They have built me up into a hard working, second year college student at the age of 16! The teachers are very supportive and helpful. The staff truly cares about your well-being and helping you learn. I would recommend my high school everybody. This school gives you the opportunity to complete an associates degree of your choice during your high school years so that when you graduate in four or five years you have a two-year college degree.

I love my school. We have the typical ups and downs of a school within a school, but the faculty are all highly attuned to the students, everyone knows everyone and feels accepted, and the opportunities for advancing one's education and completing an associate's degree while still in high school are tough to beat! I recommend this school to anyone looking for a unique opportunity, a different setting than the traditional high school, and a chance to be a big fish in a small pond.
My experience with Wilmington Early College High School has been amazing. I was exposed to college life at an early age with was imitating at first, but now it was all worth it. I have two years of college experience from attending this school that whenever I go off to a university, I won't be lost or have to adapt to the college lifestyle. The facility and staff are too die for, I love them so much even the newbies. I just absolutely love how the students can be themselves without being judged for their sexuality or opinions or beliefs. The school environment is very accepting which makes the high school experience even better. The only thing I would like to see change is more space for students during lunch or more outside areas.
