Overall this school is very safe and has good expectations for the alumni however, personally I believe this school should try to be more including and not have certain biased teachers that pick and choose favorites and the harassment and bullying should be taken more seriously and not swept under the rug like it's been happening. The bullying isn't only from one student to another it's also from teacher to student which is just completely wrong. All the complaints of students getting harassed aren't a priority and should be instead they're just being shrugged off. School is supposed to be a place where you can feel comfortable specially since it's a learning environment but it's nothing like that at all.

I really enjoyed my experience at Willow Glen! The people are great and the environment is really exciting!
Although, the math department is not very good. Many complaints were made every week yet they did not work to solve the problem.
There are resources available to you if you seek them out. Some of the academic counselors are not very helpful, but I was fortunate to get a fantastic counselor that cared about me. Some teachers aren't great, but the majority work hard to create an atmosphere that is safe for the students and are happy to meet after hours to catch you up on work if you don't understand. The math and Spanish departments could use some help, though. There isn't much school spirit and I've only seen it decline from freshman - senior year. Athletics are pretty good, and theatre/music department is fun. Not much diversity, mainly Hispanic and white kids. Cafeteria food is pretty awful and soggy. A lot of the teachers really care about the kids as people, and there are good athletic coaches. Staff is generally friendly and looking to help. To be challenged academically, take AP or honors courses. There's also opportunities to add credits by taking classes at local community colleges or online.
