East is great! Sometimes the organization of school events could be better improved, but it's nothing that's worth not attending. I've always had positive experiences with my teachers, and the work load is manageable. My only problem is with the guidance department. The counselors aren't very engaging with their students, and gave me an unprofessional feeling. Overall, 4/5.

For students who want to challenge themselves academically, Williamsville East is an excellent school that can provide these challenges. There are an abundant amount of APs and honors classes available, but what makes this school stand out are the countless unique electives students can take to explore many different subjects. The music department is also very strong as well. The overall school culture can be quite competitive, but because the school recently got rid of class rank, students may feel less pressured during the school year.
I loved the open concept building. It really makes our school unique, and has aided me in my concentration skills. I also believe that the openness has given the students a sense of security in our building, despite all of the politics around school shootings and bomb threats. Being open concept, meaning that we have minimal walls and barriers between us, we all know what is happening around the building. We can all look out for each other, which really makes this school special. The value and pride that our school takes in our diversity is also remarkable. Our school often holds events celebrating our diversity, such as Diversity Prom, a dance celebrating our LGBT+ students, Flavors of East, an event that allows students to taste and appreciate foods from several different cultures, Unity in Diversity, an assembly that also celebrates our wide range in cultures and backgrounds, and so many other events.
