Williamstown High School is a fun, sports-centered school, but the academics need to improve. The classes are very challenging, but it feels more like just a lot of work. There are a few teachers that actually give substantial work to prepare for college, though, but not enough. I am very happy here and surrounded by friendly classmates at this small school.
What I enjoyed most about my high school was its size. It was small and located in a small community. Since the school was so small, I had plenty of one on one opportunity with my teachers and they truly wanted to me you succeed. They were available whenever I needed them for any questions or concerns I had. The community was also very small, so a lot of people in the community also wanted to see me succeed. I thing I would change about my school would be to separate the middle and high school. Williamstown High School consists of seventh through twelfth grade. Being a middle schooler in the high school can be very intimidating and I think they would succeed better if they had their own school to grow and mature.
