Williams Junior Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.41 out of 5 64 reviews
My school provides a lot of services for our benefit. We have many extracurriculars whether it's sports, clubs, or just after school ASSETS or tutoring. Adding on my school has counselors who also give us a beneficial experience. With us they discuss what we could do to improve our chances of getting into the colleges we hope to attend. They also help with us applying for scholarships, FAFSA, loans and help us when applying to colleges whether they are in state or out of state. Many of these things help our school stay put and together and help students who even apply late or aren't aware of what they need to have done. As for the clubs and sports give us something extra to add to our transcripts. Some clubs being ETS, Upward Bound, Anime Club, The Greens Club. As for something which I think my school should work on is maybe adding in more clubs other students would be interested in since many clubs have the same people from other clubs. I would recommend a club like HOSA or FBLA.
I liked how open we were, open to allowing new students, being able to leave campus, rewarded for good grades, and excellent staff members. Williams has a variety of good qualities In fact they even offer college courses through woodland community college. It has allowed me to advance and receive college units before even entering college. However I do suggest they expand on different class options like language or health classes, classes to prepare us for the future.
Although it is a small school, I loved attending Williams Jr/Sr High. It was like going to school with close friends and family. It offered the opportunity to take high level AP courses, as well as dual enrollment programs. The faculty works closely with students, demonstrating care of the students. Williams Jr/Sr High School prepares students to attend university by showing us our strengths and passions.
