My experience at William M. Raines was remarkable from the teachers ,administrators , and the students . One of the many things I like about the teachers at Raines is that they are dedicated to their jobs. Educators are student focused to ensure that each student is equipped with the necessary tools to help them succeed in life and are properly qualified to attend an institution of higher learning. The administrative team is always courteous and willing the help students to resolve issues that arise throughout the day, whether personal or conflicts that sometimes arise between students or teacher and students. One thing I would like to see change is the conflicts between students. Also there is need for more respect and school pride .

Being that I’ve attended Raines all of my high school career, there’s not much to compare it to aside from elementary and middle school. Because of this, I feel that there is HUGE room for improvement. Raines can do so much better in terms of teacher availability, classroom availability (it’s quite odd that three varying subjects are taught in 1 room, at different times of course). But, while I may not be a fan of sports, I believe my Vikings are quite superb. After all, we did just win the class 4A division state championship.
One thing I liked about my high school was that the teachers, staff and principal made sure that the students understand everything that is being taught to them. There was no child left behind. I also loved the school uniforms , because everyone looked the same , there was no need for the next student to talk about the next because everyone looked the same. One thing I will change is the tardy policy. I feel like if a student had an emergency getting to school they should not have to get a tardy , because they couldn't help that something was going to happen .
