I have learned so much from the teacher at Mills High School. The teachers really want to see the youth win. I have had some experiences that are only thanks to my teachers. I was able to go to Boys State in Conway Arkansas where I was with youth my age from all around Arkansas.
Attending Wilbur D. High School is a good academic college preparation school for upcoming high school learners. My experience is still ongoing but at the moment it has great teachers, academics, and sports!
What I like about Mills is that is very diverse. Also, the honors classes are very informative, teachers are so eager to teach and the classmates are ready to learn. The principal, administrative, and teachers always host school spirit activities such as: pep rallies, guess speakers, test kick-offs, and assembly’s. Although, I would like to see a change in college readiness. Our school could do much better in preparation is students for college. Instead of getting students involved about college in their senior year, it should be done as early as sophomore year. Therefore, students would be more prepared and their senior year be smooth, unlike being stressful trying to plan for college.
