I think Whittle is a pretty good school. It has students from all backgrounds and ethnicities. In my honest opinion people who reviewed this school and gave it a 1 out of 5 are just upset because they didn't get in! All the programs are pretty exceptional, Math specifically is not divided by age but by level. Most teachers are really supportive and give you a reasonable ammount of work. The only problem is that most students have a rocky relationship with the lunch since the kitchens were not finished in time and Whittle had to to use a catering service that most students did not favor. The other thing is the construction. It can sometimes be difficult to get around but everyday they are advancing and trying to make the school better. Something that can be a challenge though are the keycards. That need to be used to access every single floor. But as long as your child/you is repsonisble that will never happen, hopefully. Also a teacher will probably come along and buzz them in.

I am an upper school student at Whittle and I love it for the most part. While there has been some communication & transparency issues, as a student, it has been an amazing experience, especially for what we have to work with. We were in temporary spaces for this past year, but we were still able to make it work and use the most of our spaces. The students here are so so so welcoming and I’ve never had a school community that feels like family like it does here. The new building spaces look amazing and it will only get better once we are in the building. Because it is a new school there are a lot of loose ends that need to be tied and sometimes it feels like we’re on a rocking boat that could tip over at any moment, but that is the risk we all signed up for. I would recommend Whittle, but I would recommend it even more once COVID is “over” and when we are all back to our usual activities.
Great school! Love the concept of our world's truly first global academy. The plans for the school and the curriculum is stellar, compared to most other independent schools. It is a truly unique concept and environment.
