Whitmire Community School is a PK-12 grade school. Since we are so small, my school is more like a family type of atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and you build friendships that last all throughout your life. One thing I do not like is that we have a limited amount of AP classes as well as drama/theater classes.
The teachers are very helpful and kind! Daily the teachers are helping whether in school or out of school.
It's a nice online high school. And convenient its design is beautiful. I think it's an interesting and convenient online high school that students can study anytime, anywhere. It's a good choice for homeschoolers.
I like the school's small environment and how the teachers really focus in on their students doing well.
Whitmire Community School has been one of the biggest influences of my life. The teachers I met helped when I need it and were very knowledgeable on their subjects. My fellow students were nice and the overall environment was very hospitable.
the staff and teachers are very nice! also, it is a small school, so it is much easier to get to know people!
I started Whitmire Community School in the spring semester of my 8th grade year. Since then, everyone has become one big family. I'm best friends with my teachers children, we all know everyone else's names, and the student to teacher ratio is about 13:1! There is no where near as much drama as you would find at a bigger school. I couldn't imagine going to high school anywhere else.
This is a great district and school. They treat you like family within the district. The counselor tries her greatest effort for any child to succeed.
I started going to Whitmire Community School in the 10th grade. I was unpleased with my old school, so I decided to make a change. Whitmire is a small school. I love the one on one experience I have had with each of my teachers and even the administration. How often does your principal know your name if not from being in trouble, right? I've learned so much more because my teachers know me on a personal level, so they expect more than just average because they know my capabilities. It's nice having so many people care about me and my future.
I will always cherish the memories made at WHS (now WCS). I loved being involved with the band program, many wonderful memories there.
What you'd expect of a high school cafeteria.
Students know what is expected of them.
Teachers are wonderful and care for their students
I love my Alma Mater.
My school does not offer enough advanced courses and the learning environment is at a slow pace.
They always keep us in line
They are great at what they do
