Whitehall High School is a small school so the teacher to student ration is really good. The sports programs play a big part in student daily life. I believe Whitehall could benefit from adding more advanced programs for students who excell quickly.

After high school I attended BYU-Idaho for one year. It was a wonderful school with a beautiful campus. I then transferred to Montana Tech to pursue a nursing degree. Montana Tech has been a challenging school, but I felt prepared for the course work after graduating. College classes by themselves are not the hard part of college, it is balancing work, life, and studying that becomes the most difficult. As a nursing student I spend most of my time studying or some sort of school work, but it the hard work will pay off. After graduation I am excited to become a nurse and offer care to others.
There are not many organizations to join in Whitehall. Most activities are sports. There are not many clubs or organizations that help students grow or that offer services to make them more appealing for colleges or for volunteer work. I wish there had been more clubs, such as Sign Language or another academic club in addition to National Honor Society.
