I very much enjoyed my experience at Whitefish Bay High School! As a student who went to Whitefish Bay schools from 5th grade through high school, I believe I was able to gain a well rounded view during my time there. Whitefish Bay has been known for some time as a quiet, affluent neighborhood that prides itself in being the home of one of the best public high schools in the state. Whitefish Bay High School does an exceptional job of getting their students to a college ready level in for years. As a result of being in a wealthy neighborhood, the community has been dedicated to ensuring that students at this school have all the resources necessary to be successful. The only downfall that I see is there is a complete lack of diversity in the school despite only being roughly 10 minutes from the inner city of Milwaukee.
This school is honestly the best school I could ever ask for, even though the course work is heavy on students, it prepares them for college in ways that no other high school in Wisconsin could, which is why we've rated the best high school academically. The teachers are nice and very helpful and the sporting events are always exciting especially the football games with the football players being well trained, I can say from experience. COME TO THE SCHOOL!
Whitefish Bay is definitely a very academically vigorous environment and is a really good option for those who need that challenge, however I feel like often times the school’s attitude towards college is so overly competitive and stressful that it makes students stress over very small and meaningless things. Despite this, the school has decent art/music programs, very good athletics, and is very enjoyable
