overall its not very good, but not as bad as it could be i guess, there's some really good teachers in business (she rocks!), music and the vocational ed areas but the worst are the teachers in core classes, they're not very motivated and go through the motions so you learn the basics and that's about all, not the sharpest tools in the shed but basically decent enough people, there's an english teacher that can hardly even talk so it keeps her from being able to lead discussions sometimes which I think is unfair to do to students and she's a nervous wreck talking about big topics that we should be learning about, and history is a lot of stupid group projects and busy work, math teacher is psycho--ask any one!!!!
My favorite part about this school is the one on one time you get with the teachers. The teachers really care about the students succeeding. The teachers are great and they really listen to your opinions and ideas. I think the biggest improvement this school could make is a better special needs program. Several of the staff who work with special needs children should absolutely not be helping them. They need more training in how to handle the situations that arise.
Are school has a pretty good extracurricular programs. the only down side to it is that if you are not one of the popular kids you get a lot of negative feed back from some parents
Most parents expect a lot out of there Kids, they are only supportive of there own children and like to blame things on other kids. Being a small rural school if you do not have the last right name then you do not belong.
We have some teachers that go above and beyond and some that do not. We are a small rural school with 68 kids from freshmen to seniors.
I like attending this school its nice and small!
My overall experience at my high school is probably the typical experience for any person going to a high school in a small town. Everyone knows everyone and there is limited supplies and options for classes. I will say that it is nice to be able to be a part of any club, activity, or organization you want to. If I could do it all over I would still go to school here because I feel like it is a safe environment where kids can get a quality education despite the issues of it being in a small town. You definitely have a good student to teacher ratio., which I find important.
