I have been going to White station since my 9th grade year and now I am about to graduate from white station. Crazy right! I what's even more crazy about it I have gained so many friends for someone who has autism that is extremely hard but this school is so diverse that I would even go to say the it is the most diverse in Memphis. The academics are so good that we have private school students coming to our school, with wide range of academics who wouldn't. We got professors teaching classes and the Ms. Holland cares about us, she is making a change. The kids are frustrated about the sanitary needs but Ms.Holland is trying her best and its really not the school's fault but the kids who throw toilet paper in the toilet but its great the white station still gives those kids a chance. I would recommend white station to any student that lives in Memphis or Tennessee because I am convinced it is the best school in Tennessee, especially for a public school.
My favorite thing about White Station is it’s diversity. That is mine number one selling point whenever I talk to other people about my school. A blend of cultures, backgrounds, and colors. It has opened my eyes to the beauty of diversity within the human race.
The academics are what you make it. You can make it really easy, but you can also take the opportunity to challenge yourself. The AP classes and teachers definitely prepare you for college. Many White Station alumni say their freshman year in college was a breeze because of their experience at White Station.
I am proud to be a spartan!

As a college preparatory school, White Station prides itself in college readiness. The academics are very competitive and there are numerous opportunities for students to succeed. For the most part, the teachers are supportive and create an engaging environment for the students.
However, the school has some sanitary issues, especially in the bathrooms. The water can be muddy and there are general issues with the bathrooms as well. There was also an big problem with rats in the school, but this was resolved a few years ago.
The school is very diverse, and there are many opportunities to join clubs and other extracurricular activities. That being said, there is a pretty big divide between the AP, honors, and traditional programs. There is very little interaction within these groups, and AP students often have a superiority complex.
Overall, White Station is a great school academically and I would recommend it to anyone aiming for a college preparatory experience with a few drawbacks.
