I am very fortunate to have been able to spend my 4 years of high school here. Not only did its large population allow for diversity, but it fostered a range of specialities and interests that created a safe space for each and every individual attending. Whilst comparing schools with friends and different districts, I came to appreciate just how various and distinctive our elective opportunities were. The bustling halls of our large campus have housed several pep rallies and events to engage my fellow peers and I. This school has truly created such a welcoming environment for students of all different backgrounds.
I refrained from awarding this school 5 stars for reasons pertaining to the district as a whole. Once COVID-19 spread, our school struggle to acclimate to new conditions alongside many other schools. While that is understandable, we did not utilize Zoom or any other direct call apps, which made learning virtually all the more difficult. Regardless, this place is my home.

my White Plains High School experience has been a rocky but good one. The teachers i had the chance to have were very compassionate & understanding teachers. They sympathized with us students, helped us with things whether it was school or if we was just going through something personally. They have clubs for everything and diversity and inclusivity is very apparent in our school. The staff for the most part is very helpful & help the students along with their high school experience amazingly. The school spirit flows amazingly throughout students and staff. Anytime there is an school event or a week for school activities the whole school shows up & participates heavily, same for school games & more.
White Plains High School is always encouraging its students that they can achieve anything. The teachers actually care about the students and even reach out to us after we graduate. There are so many resources that I didn't even know was available and it just keeps growing every year. WPHS has this uplifting spirit that I can't even explain!
