All in all, I think that Wheaton Warrenville South High School is a great school and I'm grateful to be a student here. Throughout my high school experience, all the teachers here have been helpful, kind, and have shown a genuine interest in seeing students succeed. The school has great amenities for students and offers a variety of extracurriculars for students to participate in. The school atmosphere has always felt positive and upbeat to me. Even though the pandemic has made life difficult for students and teachers in a number of ways, I feel as though the community has persevered collectively. As a virtual student this year, I have found it to be just as easy for me to reach out to my counselors, inquire for help regarding technological issues that I have faced, and to connect with other department staff. COVID-19 or not, I personally feel as though everyone at school shows a willingness to help one another. For the aforementioned reasons, this is why WWSHS is excellent!
My experience at Wheaton Warrenville South High School was amazing, and I would go back in a heart beat to do it over again. The teachers really cared about their students and wanted to set them up for success- inside and out of the classroom. The coaches at WWSHS are extremely knowledgeable and really know what they are doing. The school has top notch facilities and is well taken care of. WWSHS is a sport and music powerhouse, that hosts some of the top competitions in the nation. You feel at home when in WWSHS and everyone you meet has the same love for the school. The counselors are well equipped to deal with anything, and do an amazing job with the college search. I came out of WWSHS with a great deal of knowledge and it became really clear the quality of education that I received when entering a 4 year university was superior to many of my peers. I cannot say enough good things about Wheaton Warrenville South High School!
Wheaton Warrenville South is the best place to be. With competitive academics and amazing school spirit, everyone finds a place to belong. Although all of those things are necessary for a functional school, the teachers are the reason why Wheaton Warrenville South is flourishing.
