Moving from a 6A public school to a small, primitive private school my sophomore year, I have experienced a wide range of teaching styles and work ethics, along with a variety of social aspects. The only down side to attending a perfect little school is that you are blind sided to the imperfections of the real world. I, being raised in a large public school, was allowed to see the darker aspects of society rather than only being shown the light. I feel if Westwood incorporated this aspect into its program then students who have attended this schoo; would be prepared not only for college, but for the real world

I really like the ratio of teacher to students. They offer rigor classes that prepare you for college and make you form good habits. The food is the best of all the surrounding schools. I eat the food they prepare almost every day. They offer a many sports like football, basketball, track and field, baseball, and softball.
I'm a proud Westwood graduate '94. I glad my son will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, caring, academically challenging environment, too. Go Cats!
