I love Westwood and the community. It is honestly just one big family. I always felt in high school that I could turn a corner and always have a friend if I needed one.
I am someone who is working full-time while trying to continue my education and get my degree. The teachers are extremely understanding and helpful. They respond quickly to emails and phone calls re-guarding my questions and are great at giving feedback on assignments so that if I do something wrong or don't understand something they don't just skip over it they make sure that I understand the material, and they correct me so I can do things right the next time.
I was a student who was involved in numerous activities and was supported in each and every one of them by all the teachers and staff as well as my parents and friends parents. Everyone that I went to school with was involved in some sort of extracurricular activity it just was not normal to not be involved. And even though everyone was involved our teachers never let us slack on the education side of things, they still expected us to put as much time and dedication into our studies as we did our activities.
