Overall, Westwood is a nice, advanced school. The interior is modern and the exterior look like a caste! In fact, it's called the castle in the woods. The staff and faculty are nice and will help you with anything you need, you can depend on them. However, I wish that they would somehow incorporate lockers for more people instead of just some athletes and band members!

I loved the environment that Westwood created. The students were very much a part of the school and the school government created a lot of different outlets for student involvement. It really really emphazies the idea of family values being core values. Westwood stressed the ideas of integrity: having a set of principles to live by and doing what is right, even when no one is looking, empathy: one can understand the feelings of others, respect: treating oneself and other people with positive regard, responsibility: doing what you are expected to do, and community: being part of a larger group that shares common characteristics.
I love Westwood high school because this school is like no other. Westwood has many opportunities to get involved. I have been in the gospel choir, beta club, gardening club, debate team, student government, drama, softball team manager, orchestra and circle of friends. There are many more clubs to join and sports to play but I fell in love with these things. Also, Westwood high school is very loving and we support each other. Earlier this year in March we lost a very special student/friend due to a car accident. Although this was a horrible event it made us all stronger and realized we are a Westwood family! Attending Westwood high school will be an experience I´ll never forget and will forever have a place in my heart!
