Been going to Westwood since 3rd grade and its honestly a great Christian school. Since its so small I'm really to close to my teachers and all my class mates and its really easy to get involved in whatever you want. However at the end of the day to have a good experience you have to try. The policies are very biased and if you get on the wrong side of administration it could be bad.
Could use some a lot better teachers and work. I have been a student at Westwood Christian School for two years now. The student body and Faultily are very welcoming, however Westwood Christian does not prepare the students for college. They have one college consoler that was an English teacher, had no experience with counseling students.
Westwood Christian School is an amazing school! I have learned so much by attending Westwood and I would recommend it to anyone. I have been at Westwood for 14 years and I would not change it. You are able to get so involved at Westwood and you will love it!
Westwood is a great school. This school is a bully and drug free school. Westwood has a wonderful atmosphere where it provides many after school programs for students to partake in. Westwood is a school that cares about its students and wants them to be success in their future. his school strives for greatness.
Westwood Christian School is a wonderful private environment focused on the future of its students in every area of their lives. A person who attends Westwood will definitely grow in character, responsibility, teamwork, academic excellence, community support, and athletics, and he/she will, in general become a very well-rounded person. Any graduate of Westwood will be fully prepared for their life ahead of them, as our college-prep style really readies students for the world ahead of them. Many students move on to top colleges in Florida and around the nation, and a prime example of that is Florida's lieutenant governor Jeanette Núñez, a graduate from Westwood Christian. In the future, I would love to see WCS improve in technology worked into the learning environment, and the staff is actually currently working on implementing new tech into the classrooms to be ready for the 2020-2021 school year.
It's everything is false about Christianity or the relationship with God, they are religious, racist, they do not have a specific educational orientation, they only focus on the discipline regime, they worry about how they look, what they really are FARISEOS in front of GOD. THEY DO NOT HAVE SECURITY AROUND OUR CHILDREN, DISCRIMINATE AND SEPARATE THE CHILDREN FOR THEIR AVERAGE, without considering any kind of help towards them. I do not recommend anyone to this school to lose their money.HORRIBLE food preparations and conditions.
Everything that I say about this school, is not good election this school for any grade over middle and high school, is no real everything about the admission information, during any Period or end the year you have to leave To another school, they are racist , they don’t real Christians. they don’t know and do not practice the love or passion of god, is like Judas the sales it or interest by $$$.
This school uses racist methods, and teachers in general discriminate against Latino students, which causes students to suspend their classes, for 3 years I had different opinions from different parents with horrible experiences. if you see the reference of the number of Latinos statistics is for the population and the area of this school, but each year more students decide to leave, than what they choose this school
The administration is biased towards certain students and baised against others.
Students who have parents in the PTO get certain privileges. Most of their equipment is outdated.
The only remodeling they've done in the school is bathrooms and a library that was actually better before the remodeling.
The teachers get angry at students and spend more time ridiculing and discipline than teaching a class.
Lastly, the culture is a really negative one overall (i.e. student-to-student, student-to-teacher, student-to-administration)

THIS IS A SERIOUS REVIEW. I myself have been a student at Westwood Christian School for 7 years. I did all my middle and high school there. (I graduated class of 2016)
let me just say that this is the best school in Miami. In every aspect. I totally recommend it. It is a safe and Christian environment. The teachers really care for you, and are there for you. The sports programs are great, and the education really prepares you for college. they have ZERO TOLERANCE for bullying. If you have a kid, and you're wondering where you should take him, THIS IS THE PLACE.
Westwood was not just a school for me, it has become a home for me---a home that I always love going back to.
The only con, however, is that tuition is a bit pricy (although they do offer financial help like scholarships for example.) But it is worth every penny, I am thankful to God and my parents for having placed me in Westwood.

This school prepared my husband for a successful career as a physician. Our oldest three children also attended and received scholarships for college. They are currently doing very well in the careers of their choice. Just as important, this school helped shape their character and reinforced the values we cherish at home. I highly recommend this school.
This school has a lot of problems with it. It is horribly mismanaged by the administration. The math department at the school is so bad that they don't even offer Calculus. They are christian but there is a lot of legalism within the school. T
My school is very conscious of our health in terms of bullying. There is a no bully tolerance and my school is also active in everyday health. We are not allowed to hold medication with us. We must take it to the office. This prevents drug use which could also conflict with your health.
Westwood has the absolute best teaching staff. The teachers work with you if you are having trouble in an area and they really care about of you and your wellbeing. Everything at Westwood gives the appearance of one big happy family, and it is. Every teacher is there to give you advice, but not just about academics. They are there to help you with everyday problems and really want you to achieve and succeed.
I never really did like school because I felt like I was wasting my time. I would go to school not learn anything and go back home but once I entered Westwood Christian we would learn in class. The teachers would get the students involved and they had many activities so the students did not just do work all year but also have fun. I had my best years there.
The new computers are great and offer many ways to print. Facilities are clean and organized.
Westwood Christian School is known for the love that the staff have for their students and continuous devotion.
